I gave it as a gift a little while ago, so I don't know if it is durable or not. But from what I hear, the kid who got it is having a blast with it, accompanying himself on the guitar (he's 3). Apparently it is lots of fun.

DO NOT BUY. We've purchased three of these and all of them have broken within the first week. The connection of the microphone and the speaker malfunctions causing it not to work anymore.

I purchased this for my niece for christmas.She is 5 and she had to have it opened right away she spent the rest of Christmas day singing for us it was really cute.Then her dad and brother used it for stand up comedy act it was hysterical. Of course it was a hit for a few days then she moved on the her other new toys but it's still around and working, it was really inexpensive and she loves this thing. We all had fun with it.

Both my sons loved this toy...for a week. Then the Mic broke. I have been unable to find a replacement part or find out how to contact the company. Looks like it's into the garbage with this one.

I was concerned about purchasing this due to negative reviews about the microphone, but my 6 yr old daughter loves it and plays with it all of the time. We have had no problem with it and she is not what I would call a gentle child. When carried the stand pops out of base, however easily pops back in.
