One of the few trains with track for the under 2 setApr 19, 2009 We ordered this train because our 6 month old loved to watch motorized trains and we wanted one on a track so we wouldn't have to keep going and getting the train and sending it back to him. Most train sets can't be used for babies but this one is fine for him to chew on, throw around, etc and he hasn't hurt the train/track yet or himslef playing with it. He likes watching it go around the track and the music and the moving people/animals and red light. The down side is the train cars come apart very easily and are very difficult to get back together properly so that they're really locked into place. Hooking them together frustrates me and is almost impossible for my 4 yr old. Also, it eats batteries - went through a set in 24 hrs. So we swtiched to rechargeables. Of course, if you let a baby get with in reach of the set, the train and track are ripped apart in about 5 seconds, so it's better as something to watch while he's in his highchair or put up on a table he can't reach. My biggest dissappoint is that he can so easily take the train apart and it's so time consuming to put back together - if I could let him play with it and then hook it back up in a matter of seconds it would be a much more useable toy.
