fun in my daughters play kitchen . some of the colors on the frits and veggies are not accurate . for instance , the watermelon in this set is purple . as we all know , it is red . i now have to tell my little girl that the color that it was given is a mistake . watermelon is still red .

After searching a lot online I decided to buy this set for my niece for Christmas. I'm sure she will like it just fine, but I was disappointed with a lot of the pieces. Of course in the picture they put the most realistic fruits and veggies on top, but after further inspection I saw a lot of the basket was made up of solid colored "balls" or shapes that didn't have a whole lot of detail. This wouldn't have been a big deal except that the consumer submitted photo is of a completely different set of fruits and vegetables. There is no melon or red bell pepper and less realistic detail than those shown. Overall I guess I'm satisfied.

Good price, arrived quickly, nice variety. A few things I cannot identify but otherwise the kids enjoy it and are learning the names pretty well.

I gave four star in educational value because I thing they should have a written card or page with picture of all the vegtable and fruits and there name with it. Lot of parents who doesn't speak english or english is not their 1st language might not know all the name of vegtable and fruit in english. So having a written name with pictures will help alot.
Also, some 2 of the shapes even my american freinds couldn't figure it out right away. there is a light pink round shape (I think it's suppose to be plum. Also round big dark green shape (people think it's suppose to be pumpkin) IF that is the case shouldn't it be orange color instead of green?
If any parents figure these two out. please respone or add comments.

This is a great little basket of food! My only complaints are that some of the pieces are less than life like (purple watermelon), and the paint on some has already begun to chip. But none the less my daughter loves it and really enjoys feeding her "babies" and fixing meals for her mom and dad.
