 Great collection - but overpriced for shoddy qualityMay 29, 2009

My son is obsessed with helicopters so I bought this set for a road trip thinking it could entertain him for a few hours. Unfortunately, the planes are flimsy and not very well constructed. He has a similar Matchbox helicopter (available at Target) that has held up much better.
Within 5-minutes of opening the boxes, one of the helicopters had already lost several rotors (the plastic bent). After just a few hours of play, a lot of the paint has already chipped off of several of the planes. Definitely not worth the money and I would not purchase again.

I bought this set with another 6 pc set. Both are great small planes, great for small hands, although I can see that the helicopter pieces are going to break off soon, but overall these are great toys. I bought these for my 3 year old son.

My grandson loved this set. His uncle is in the navy so he had fun pretending to run the aircraft carrier and call the aircraft in for landing. Hours of imaginary fun. Better than a video game!

My nine year old son used his own money to purchase this set. He was disappointed to discover that two of the planes (Harrier and F14 Tomcat) were not at the same scale as the others. They were too big. The picture was misleading. Otherwise, he likes the set.

I bought these for my co-worker and they loved it. The toys are pretty high quality, except that they are bubbled wrapped so it is hard to gift wrap.
