The toy is a little cheaper quality than I expected, but otherwise a decent C-130 model for $10.

I purchased this model at the local Hobby Lobby. It's kind of cheaply made, but I wasn't concerned with that - I was more interested in something that would look nice on a shelf in my office (kind of a memory from when I worked on C-130's in the military). So while I rated it a 4 on the fun, a 2 on the durability (this might have been generous, but it stays on a shelf out of reach of children) and a 3 for educational value, I rated it a 5 overall. It is exactly what I was looking for, looks nice on the shelf.

Requires almost no skill to assemble. Be mindful that there are two pins that must be inserted at the BEGINING of the assembly process, or you will have to take the plane apart to add them in hindsight. We personalized this model after assembly and hung it in our nursery. Have also given the same model as a retirement gift to a friend in the aviation realm. Petite, easy to assemble, nice little model.
