THE 1/32 SCALE IS INCORRECTJan 26, 2011
By PARIS WHITNEY HOTTIE Each model comes individually packaged and is clearly marked 1/32 Scale . However as I am both a collector and model builder of both 1/32 and 1/35 scale military vehicles I noticed something was wrong . These kits are really the smaller 1/35 scale and NOT the slightly larger 1/32 scale . This is the fault of the manufacturer and not the seller . If having the correct scale doesn't matter to you , then it's worth the money . I have not assembled any yet but they look easy enough to build .

Good quality plastic tanks that my nine-year-old son put together easily. These tanks are sold separately for around $14 each, so buying them together is a great value for a young boy and his small allowance.

Good Display ModelsMay 13, 2011
By Sparty Although I am a Scale Model builder (for decades) these "EZ Build" models have come along way. They are fairly accurate and the detailing on them is remarkable. The paint and decals are realistic enough and if you are looking for something to display in a cabinet or on a desk top then they are a good choice. I picked up this set even though I planned on building the same ones using Scale Model Kits. The price was to good to pass up. They went together well with just a little coaxing here and there. Afterwards, with a few accessaries placed around them, they looked good enough that I am going to stay with these instead of taking months to build the Scaled Kits.

Good as stationary models, not really for playing withOct 18, 2010

These 4 army toys used to be battery-operated items with motors (there are battery covers and mounts for electric motors), but now they are sold as models you assemble. They are easy to put together, and don't look too shabby. If you are just using them for display, they are more than adequate.
As toys, not too good. The tank treads on all 4 vehicles don't move too properly unless you really push down on the toy for contact with the ground - so I can see why these might have failed with motors installed! The smaller guns and one turret are a bit thin and could be broken/bent with some rough play. Obviously not for toddlers!
I wish the Halftracks came with a clear plastic window, but that's the only cosmetic issue I see.
A great inexpensive package if you are collecting a 1:32 scale army for display.

Great looking WWII armor at a decent priceJan 27, 2010
By E. Kelly The tanks and halftracks are nicely detailed with no additional painting. They were fun to assemble, though in one spot we had to shave off some errant plastic with an exacto knife to get a clean fit between two parts. Though slightly undersized at 1:32 for my ~ 1:24 garden railroad, they still look great on a couple of repainted Bachmann flat cars from 10' away. :-)
