 A review of the InAir E-Z Model Kit of the F-15 EagleAug 26, 2010

I make these InAir E-Z Aircraft Model Kits for my grandson. He enjoys playing with them, and these kit planes can take 5-year-old punishment. After you make a couple,you can do others in 15 to 30 minutes.And there are many different kits to choose from.
These InAir Model Kits are also educational. My grandson looks over my shoulder and ask what the various parts do. I also use the building time to tell him about the war in which the real aircraft was used.
It also helps to also purchase the enemy aircraft model, because my little guy wants to know who's the bad guy.
They are easy to put together and someone will have a lot of fun with it.

PUTTING THE F-15 TOGETHER WAS EASY, EXCEPT FOR THE CANOPY, WHICH DOES NOT FIT WELL. THERE ARE HOLES IN THE FUSELAGE FOR THE LITTLE PEGS OF THE CANOPY FRONT AND BACK TO FIT INTO. BUT THE HOLES ARE NOT LARGE ENOUGH & I HAD TO CARVE THEM BIGGER. EVEN THEN, THE FIT OF THE CANOPY IS PRETTY SLOPPY. THE OTHER EXTREME FOR BUILDING SCALE MODELS IS ONE I BOUGHT BY ACADEMY. IN IT, SOME OF THE PARTS ARE SO SMALL THEY ARE VERY HARD TO HANDLE AND GLUE ON CORRECTLY. IN FACT, I LOST ONE ON MY DESK TOP AND NEITHER I NOR MY WIFE WAS ABLE TO FIND IT, SO I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER KIT JUST FOR PARTS. THERE SEEMS TO BE NO HAPPY MEDIUM
