Not impressedMar 09, 2010 Impossible to read/follow instructions.Make diagrams bigger. Flimsy. Will do if left on a stand where it never needs to be touched, but won't last at all with handling.

plane kitSep 23, 2009 nice for me , but im 46 ! this is to hard for a kid ! no good for playing either !
Great Toy!Mar 10, 2009 I collect the E-Z Build line, and of the 20 or so available in the line, this model is probably the most challenging to put together. I really enjoy assembling this model, the accuracy is great for a toy & I love how the E-Z Builds don't require glue. The overall value is great considering the inexpensive price.

Clunky and not at all authenticMar 08, 2009 Color scheme is all wrong as the plane uses the white cowl and wheel covers never used on the Baron's plane, though the ident crosses are correct. The wings attach using screws and large, thick clunky lugs on the struts that detract from the over-all look of the plane (which is why all of the pics of the E-Z build planes are taken from above). Build time is more like an hour, not five minutes as advertised. If you are looking for an accurate model of this plane, this ain't it. Check out the Revell Germany 1:28 scale kit, or any other of the glue kits available for an accurate display model.
That said, this is a great toy for kids, and might get them interested in the history of aviation as it's something different from all of the jet toys out there. It is, also, a good introduction to model building (with adult help and supervision reccomended) as no glue or painting is necessary. I bought a dozen of the EZ plane kits at Christmas time for our local "Santa Cops" program and they were glad to get them, and word is that they were well received.
So, bottom line is--Good display model: no; great toy for kids:yes

NOT easy to assemeble!Jan 28, 2009 I purchased this toy to use as a decorative item in our baby boy's nursery -- it said easy to assemble and I would think that an average adult should be able to handle the assembly required...WRONG! The instructions are horrible and the pieces are so tiny - and very difficult to keep in your hand without dropping them. I would not reccomend this product, and in fact ended up throwing the entire kit away in the garbage after getting frustrated!
