Nephew Loved It, Eyes Everywhere in DangerNov 30, 2009 Got this for a 7 year old nephew and within minutes him and two kids younger than him were putting it together with my brother in law. Well, mostly my brother in law built in why they watched. It probably only took 5 minutes, so this isn't too detailed of a build it yourself project. The kids loved it to play with it though. However the spire on the top is super dangerous. It is a 2" pin that is just looking to take someone's eye out. Not cool when 3 sub-seven year olds are begging to check it out. We ended up putting some foam over the top so everyone would "see" the days end.

DisappointingFeb 13, 2009 I bought this product based on the information listed, which was a mistake. The info is scant, so after receiving this item, I thought I'd try to help out future shoppers with some detail. The finished rocket is not bad, actually, as a display piece. It stands about 15" tall on its base, which sounds impressive, but really isn't. The paint and sculpt are average, with plenty of seam lines , but that's all forgivable- it looks good, from a distance. My main gripe is with the quality and build. The plastic is cheap and not well-cast for easy construction. You will need a sharp exacto to scrape down the plastic and a good bit of muscle to make the parts fit. No way do I give this to a young kid for its advertised "5-minute-build-up". Ugh! I'm a very experienced model-builder and this was an aggravating 30-minute fight-build. Needless to say, I won't be disassembling it any time soon for the staging. But, hey, you get what you pay for: at $[...] plus shipping, you're paying too much. For $[...] after shipping, it's much more reasonable.

DisappointmentJan 18, 2009 No instructions came with this model. It should have been easy, but it was frustrating for the 7-year-old and the parents. There was also a very misleading and confusing inclusion of a screwdriver (for what, remained a mystery).
