Haven't seen anything like this from the Thomas sideDec 24, 2011

He loves Misty Island Rescue, in which Diesel shunts two flatbeds of Jobi logs. He is chased by Thomas because he's not supposed to take them, and he comes up to an unfinished bridge. He screeches to a stop but his flatbeds fall one by one into the sea below.
This is is favorite sequence from anything he's ever seen and he's been reprising it for 6 months. So since there wasn't something similar (with multiple logs) in the Thomas set that I've seen, I asked his Auntie in England to get him this.
It's plastic and the two sides open so that they lay flat. It's easy to put them back up again to hold the logs. It comes with four logs that were lighter in color than the picture above looks. See video if you want to watch Thomas pull the car.

By collippa This little logging freight car has added a little well-priced diversity to my son's train set. We are Wooden Thomas fans but there is not a great array of well priced freight vehicles within that range so this has proved a really fun addition to a much loved train set. It appears well made for the price and my son likes that he can take the logs out and use the freight car to transport any number of items around the track! Very pleased with this little purchase.

Great Train for the PriceSep 30, 2011
By Mother of Two Boys We collect Thomas trains & wanted to add this to our collection. A little lighter weight, but magnets are just as strong. Like how the log car opens & closes. I have small kis, so I used wood glue to glue all 4 logs together to reduce risk of choking. Also makes it easier to play with for my 3 year old.
