great plane if it arrives in proper shipping box and not broken.Dec 15, 2010
By Katie Winship My son (6 yrs old) absolutely loves blackbirds, so i chose this one as a small xmas gift. I'll admit that I chose it because of it's price point and free shipping. But it did arrive with the front wheel missing. The plane was very poorly packed with no padding at all - just sitting in a small box. With the front wheel missing, the pull-back and release feature doesn't work. So I had to return it. I'm chancing it for another one and hoping the next one arrives in one piece. If so, it'll get my 5 stars.

Good looking but weak pull-back mechanismFeb 04, 2011
By Koy BB This is a nice looking model. I really like the paint job and the detail of the plane. The only negative I can see is the pull back mechanism is weak. The plane just kind of crawls across the floor when you let it go. Also, it's a tad small compared to the other pull-back die cast airplanes that I've bought on Amazon. Overall, an average model.
