Excellent collectable but not really a toy.Jul 03, 2009 Excellent for display purposes and a great conversation piece! I'll never have to search everywhere for a pen anymore,I just take one out of the Space Shuttle Penholder and all's good! As far as being a toy, I suppose a child or an adult that's a kid at heart, could easily detach it and fly it around as if on a space mission but due to what the shuttle's made of I wouldn't recommend it for any young children who might put it in their mouth, it'll taste nasty and it's also not safe for someone that young. Overall, I love it and will always cherish it and will only let it go, if I pass on, to a relative!
