Good dealFeb 02, 2010
By Richard Gustaf Erickson This toy is exactly what I had hoped it would be . . inexpensive, accurate enough, and solid. I think the wheels will be off before long, but so what. My grandson collects little cars and trucks and loves this. The shuttle is accurate enough so that I could explain to the 3 year old where the astronauts sit, where the payload rests, and where the motors are. Even if the little guy breaks off the doors, he'll still have a good time with it. The best time was had when we watched a tape of a launch on TV and he could identify the parts in his hand with what he was seeing on TV.
Poorly builtJan 31, 2012
By GetReal Yes, this is a diecast but only the upper white part, while the rest is plastic. The plastic and diecast did not fit well together with a big gap in one wing, the front tire no longer folds into the plane and now a portion of it (that holds it vertically) is breaking away, the upper doors for the cargo open at will since there nothing holding them closed. And all this after 10 minutes with the plane. Quality is poor at best.
My kids and I really liked thisMar 14, 2010
By Mom 2 plus 1 more :) I bought this for my son when he was in a "space" phase. The body made of metal, but one of the plastic doors broke off and can't be fixed. I wish it had been made better. Otherwise nice shuttle.
