Our 3 year old wanted a train set but is not old enough for an electric set. This one looks like a big boy set but is very affordable and easy to use. Santa had brought one that cost much more and was a piece of junk. This was a wonderfull find. I highly recommend it.

My 4 year has already broken his first and I wanted to get him a moving version which I can let him just play without telling him to be too careful. He is not a rough kid in the first place and so far it has held up to at east the connection points when he switches one cargo to the other. A very good buy for the price which keeps my 4 year old happy for a full hour.

This set is really cool. Took my son for a train ride and he fell in love. Now he is looking for train toys. Found this one and thought it was great value for under $20! Sure enough now he is conductor Joe and couldn't be happier. Got the steam engine set, need to get the diesel next!

I've got 2 trains. one was disel another steam engine. Disel came with broken on-off switch, the wheel on steam broke next day. it was so much fun to play with, but it last only for one day... the track made of really cheap plastic and also didn't last for long. you can snap it 2-3 times and it brakes too. Good idea, but very cheap made,save your money for something else.
